Welfare Programs & Political Change
Life is an illusion. It's created in each person’s own mind. It can only be what you make it, birth allows this freedom and opportunity. There are many stories in every society and places all over the world at every minute of life telling of the considerable odds and difficulties people overcome to reach extreme heights in life.

Some individuals reach excessive heights in physical achievements and others in spiritual. Either way, it’s a wonderful achievement if it’s for the betterment of others. By either improving the physical world we all live in or the spiritual plane, they think and pray. Don’t harshly judge overly successful lawmakers, businessmen, conquerors or teachers if their intent is proper and their goals are unselfish.

This work is good. Laws that regulate work hours, pay schedules, retirement protection, labor, and environmental processes that ensure safety and preservations are critically relevant. Improvement in food, sanitation, health care, and financial stability is all important.

Changes to Society’s Welfare System –
Why is it always such a political fight? Change seems to occur only through conflict. This is the universal battle, all creatures and all humans must fight for their positions in life. Look at nature, look at human sperm, just the strongest creates life. Welfare or too much socialism is a weakness. People must learn and earn what they reap in life. This does not mean assistance to help others reach their goals should not be available.

The core principles of a government should be to protect its weaker citizens, including the old, poor, sick, handicapped and disabled. For at any moment in life, anybody’s fortune can change into a transformational event. People’s lives are routinely completely upended from accidents, diseases and other catastrophic events in life.

The welfare approach should be monitored and firm in most cases and totally lenient in situations of true need. The loopholes in government welfare programs that are designed to truly help people need to be closely monitored, regulated and reviewed for effectiveness on a regular schedule. The world is constantly changing. Everything around us transforms moment by moment and the challenges people face is also varying so
welfare programs need to be flexible.

To endure life in poverty and sickness is one thing. To live a life-span with hope or purpose is another. A life of poverty could teach a lesson that will inspire greater commitments to self-betterment. A life without hope has no roots, and the human spirit can die. This is a true death, a life force's spirit with no hope, desire or faith.

All people need help in one way or another. In nature, the weak are often preyed upon or die prematurely. In our modern society, weaker individuals should have access to the basic needs of food, shelter, education, and healthcare. An essential level of education should be available for all. Everybody should have some access to additional training, education, apprentice programs, that can revise and teach new valued added skills to help them fit into society. This will create interaction between the individuals who need assistance and fill the voids of employment countless companies encounter. None of this can be instilled without good moral conduct policies.

Getting what is essential should not be merely handouts. The assistance needs to be earned for individuals to maintain self-integrity. People requiring assistance should not feel totally helpless or inferior. They need to be able to maintain self-pride and dignity. There are many who need help and there are numerous who could take care of themselves if they have some guidance. People, governments, and civilizations have a responsibility for the individuals limited in their own resources. This does not mean they can take advantage of programs that are only intended to keep them in poverty or in an uneducated status.

Education frees the mind of despair and uncertainty. Employers need to offer training programs and allow individuals to add value to their own lives and the employer’s institutions. When there is no hope due to poor education, bad health or delusional habits (drugs and alcohol) the light in the person's spirit's dim.

The only choice is death. Life is external, but like any flame, it can be extinguished. In the great religions throughout the world there are small groups that speak about the death of the soul. No one can grow a seed that has no hope, desire, function or spirit. Society’s role is not to let those in need suffer from hopelessness. Life can be hard and difficult, and it’s for the most of us, there are many daily challenges that need constant care and discipline.
Life Requires Discipline and Commitment. If you commit to carefree mindless living, drugs and alcohol, greed, overconsumption, predatory habits or lust, you will suffer the same. What you give is what you will receive. This is a reality. This is destiny, and this is karma.

You challenge a skunk, and you will get its’ revenge. You challenge alcohol, greed, sexual abuse, or thievery you will become consumed by it power and characteristics. A balanced life is necessary, built on faith, good moral conduct, mindfulness, preparation, ambition, faith, and desire. The goal is the betterment of self, which in turn will lead to all the current and future societies. A society without good moral values, hope, faith and proper desire are doomed for failure. The society or civilization follows the same cycle that all life experiences on earth. If there is no sun, water or nutrition, life will be difficult to sustain. Society is not different, if the people lose their faith, hope or desire to succeed and thrive, they will revolt or die. Revolutions in societies just do not happen overnight. Loss of freedom of choice and depletion of the necessities of life begins the erosion of the moral values and the dignity of life quickly dissolves. Once this process finds a foundation then the final stone is cast. Loss of pride. When a person, society, or civilization loses its senses of hope, dignity, moral integrity or pride, collapse is only a short period away.

Study history and you will see most civilizations fall from the inside. Most people fall from their own causes no matter the position they hold in life. Falling is like gravity, it happens quickly and powerfully. If you have ever fallen, then you know the power and strength of gravity. Down is quick, up is hard and slow. Watch a baby learn to walk, stand, fall and try again. This is the process for every aspect of life.

The circle of life exists for all creatures and elements in nature. Nothing is endless except the creator’s love and commitment. Every item of the element table has a beginning and an end. Some have long decay cycles and others quick. Societies follow the same course. Societies grow and become stable and eventually if a proper governing system is not in place societies stop existing. A society that does not stops greed, or control ruthless self-concerned power leaders from developing will all die.

The powerful men and women who reach and hold the top positions of leadership need to set strong policies. They need to consider all the parts of the equations on an individual, national and world basis. Their teams and aides need to be objective and not only politically inspired. They need to set policy, but look and review options presented by the governing bodies of both sides on any issue. Leaders should not be worried about changing their position if through an investigation it’s had been revealed that certain facts and concerns were overlooked or not recognized. Then a revisal or reversal of position is in order. Government officials that seek self-purpose, or those holding positions only for the power of money or favoritism needs to be pushed away or eliminated from the leadership roles.

Politicians should serve and gain benefits these positions bring and than should step away once their periods of effectiveness expire. The greatness of a man is not diminished or reduced because they no longer hold power. There is a great deal of work that can be achieved once the reins of power are let go. This would take a great deal of self-control, but if an individual is not truly capable of their duties and the challenges of providing a balanced program, they should step aside. Many have heard the saying if you want to go slow, fine, just pull over and let the faster traffic go by. Politicians should not become clogs because they feel entitled.

People need to realize this is politicians careers. Instead of trying to block upstarts and fresh leadership, it's better to keep abreast and be part of the new solutions with additional training or insight. The world is large and there are endless opportunities to grow and prosper or help others achieve their own success. All of us should participate throughout the process by maintaining good moral conduct, be patient with others and stay united in the betterment of mankind.
